Samara the Adoptable Pitbull/Rottweiler Mix

Samara is a pitbull/rottweiler cross who was turned into the humane society this week and then turned over to Pitbulls For Life. Although formidable in size, Samara is a real sweetheart who almost falls asleep when you rub her hind legs. She is 3 years old and 82 lbs. Anyone interested in adopting her please visit the Pitbulls For Life website!

  3. I have a male look just like her he is not so sweet. Great watch dog the very best of em ..but as far as strangers other pets even the cats he growls and growls and snaps he gets like this crazy look in his eyes like their empty and he has attacked my jack Russel more than 4 times he never locked his jaws .but could easily kill my Russel and I think he has it in mind to...I call it the crazy eye..I'm afraid I'm gonna have to put him down sooner than later ..he has bitten 2 people already ..hit they startled him and they kinda asked for it or I would have already put him down. But I love bo bo so so so much he sweet as can b to me...we found him abandoned and alone when he was a puppy so I brought him home .he was maybe a3-14 possibly 15-16 weeks old he is very very temperamental

    1. Seek obedience and socialization training from a pro. He needs to know that he is not the one in control but that you are. You need to be the Alpha to all your dogs. They need to know that fighting is not allowed by you being the one who disciplines. It sounds like he thinks he need to run the pack. But I don't know the particulars. Hopefully this will be straightened out.
